Who we are
Vinjakt.nu is a growing wine & beverage website with the aim of showcasing some of the better wines in Systembolaget's vast assortment. We are a group of experienced digital marketers and wine connoisseurs that work closely with producers and wine importers. Our goal is to grow consumer awareness about good wines on the Swedish market and become the ever-present go-to online resource.
Who you are
We are seeking a Sommelier student who is also a masterful wordsmith (språknörd!). You are a native Swedish speaker as well as proficient in the English language.
Past experiences from translation work and/or published writing within the wine topic is a merit but not a requirement.
Your tasks
Your main task will be to translate English wine articles to Swedish. Simple as that.
There will also be an opportunity to publish your own work and become a contributing author.
Your talent & skills
You are exceptionally talented and skilled at transferring the meaning of a message from one language to another.
In addition, you should have a solid command of the wine lingo. You are able to communicate the written word in a clear and precise manner - so even the average wine buyer understands.
Your compensation & commitment
We'll compensate you at 0.4 SEK per word translated (excl. VAT). There will be enough work for you to keep you busy for 40 hours a month. This is an on-going position.
